  • 6 Sausages-cooked

  • 6 Hotdog buns

  • 1 tbsp Mustard

  • 3 tbsp Tomato sauce

  • 1 cup Cheese (grated)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
  • Line large baking tray with foil. Cut buns down the centre and spread each with mustard and half the tomato sauce. Place sausage in each and top with cheese.
  • Place in oven and cook for 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden brown. Serve immediately.
  • Recipe Hints and Tips:
  • Hot Dog Casserole is not suitable for freezing and best served immediately.
  • Mustard is optional. You can also use any flavour of mustard – American, wholegrain, Dijon or even a hot mustard!

It’s BBQ season, so when you have leftover BBQ sausages, this Hot Dog Casserole is perfect!

Hot Dog Casserole gets done in just a few minutes so it’s one of those grab-and-go go-to foods that I like to make for the boys. Definitely a win!

Kids are real fussy eaters so if my kids loved this, then your kids will love this too! This casserole is delicious and I myself can’t get enough of this!

If you want this to be yummier, add lots and lots of cheese! Well, that is, if you love cheese – like me!

This is super easy and quick to make. Truly a no-sweat recipe!
