Marinated Lamb Cutlets

Tender lamb cutlets marinated with herbs and spices — juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a special meal.

Ingredients

  • Lemon juice-from one lemon

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Pepper

  • 2 tbsp Oregano -dried

  • 0.5 cup Olive oil -extra for drizzling

  • 8 Lamb cutlets

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil.
  • Add the lamb cutlets and turn to coat.
  • Cover with cling wrap and place in the fridge to marinate for 30 mins.
  • Place a frying pan over high heat, drizzle with olive oil and add the lamb cutlets.
  • Cook  for 2 mins on each side for rare, then rest the lamb for 10 mins in a warm place.

Notes

  • You can cook the lamb for a little longer if you prefer well done.
