Ingredients

  • 1 cup Self raising flour

  • 0.25 tsp Bicarb Soda

  • 1 tbsp Caster sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 0.5 cup Milk

  • 2 tsp Canola Oil

This Easy Pikelets Recipe is a great breakfast idea for kids and grown-ups alike.

They are also a great idea for school lunches and quick snacks! Aside from the fact that these only take 10 minutes to make, the cooking process is also so satisfying. The delicious smell just fills the entire house and the kids love it warm! I don’t have to nag as they’re willing to eat every bit.

PS. When I’m feeling down I eat these pikelets with chocolate syrup and/or ice cream on top. Naughty, I know! I do this when the kids are in bed, asleep! lol

What do I do with the sugar? Or is this just for sprinkling on later?

The sugar goes in with the rest of the dry ingredients.
