Ingredients
200 gram Tin pie apples
180 gram Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 number Egg
0.5 tsp Vanilla essence
1.25 cups plain flour
1 tbsp Sugar (brown)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line square cake tin with baking paper.
- Cream butter and sugar using electric beaters until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and beat again. Stir in sifted flour. Pour mix into cake tin and top with apples. Sprinkle apples with brown sugar.
- Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes until just golden brown.
- Serve hot with cream or cold as apple slice on it’s own.
- Recipe Hints and Tips:
- Apple Delight Slice is suitable for freezing for up to 4 months or keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.
- Add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon to the brown sugar to dust the top.
