Ingredients

  • 100 gram Unsalted butter

  • 1 cup Icing sugar-sifted

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp Water-hot

Directions

  • Using electric beaters or a mix master, beat the butter until pale and soft.
  • Gradually add the sifted icing sugar, beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the hot water and vanilla extract and stir in well.

  • Buttercream Frosting can be made ahead and kept refrigerated for up to three days before use.
  • Make sure your cake is totally cooled before adding the icing.
  • Also great for fillings in cakes and biscuits.
