I went to my local caf? for a coffee and saw they had this mushy peas n toast for $16!!!! There was no way I was going to pay that!! So I went home and created my own for roughly $3. A fancy breakfast at a fraction of the price! Go on treat yourself!!!

A British classic—mushy peas are simple, buttery, and comforting. Perfect alongside fish and chips or as an easy side dish for roast dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen peas, thawed

  • 1/4 cups Feta

  • 3 Mint leaves

  • 1 Slice sourdough

  • Smoked salmon

Directions

  • Place the pea’s, feta and mint leaves together in a bowl and mash together.
  • Cook 1 slice of the sourdough and toast to your liking.
  • Place the pea’s on top of the bread and add the salmon!
