Salad dressings you buy in the bottle are always just a little disappointing…. They can make a great salad, a bit sad.
But a basic vinaigrette dressing is surprisingly easy to make at home. This is a basic balsamic dressing, which is perfect for most salads (except for perhaps Ceaser salads).

A simple, tangy balsamic vinaigrette made with olive oil, vinegar, and seasonings, perfect for salads or drizzling over roasted vegetables.

Ingredients
1/4 cups Balsamic vinegar
3/4 cups Extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Minced garlic
1/2 tsp Salt flakes
1/2 tsp Freshly Ground Black pepper
1/4 tsp Chili flakes (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients into a jar. Place the lid on and shake well for two minutes.
- Serve immediately.

- You can keep any remaining vinaigrette dressing sealed in the fridge for up to three days.
