Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts

  • 1 cup marsala wine

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 pound mushrooms

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown on each side. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add mushrooms and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the marsala wine and simmer for a few minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow it to reduce by half.
  • Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Return the chicken to the pan, cover, and cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. The creamy sauce perfectly complements the tender chicken for a delightful meal.
