Easy One-Pan Creamy Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
1.5 pounds chicken breasts
1 cup marsala wine
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound mushrooms
1 cup chicken broth
4 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown on each side. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add mushrooms and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the marsala wine and simmer for a few minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow it to reduce by half.
- Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Return the chicken to the pan, cover, and cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. The creamy sauce perfectly complements the tender chicken for a delightful meal.
