Who doesn’t love a cooked chook!! Most people make a traditional roast chicken with traditional potatoes and other vegetables. This however is a completely different take on a Roast chicken that leaves you satisfied with a fresh meal!

Juicy roast chicken flavoured with aromatic Chinese five spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 number Roast Chicken

  • 1 tbsp Chinese Five Spice

  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Pepper

  • 2 tbsp Peanut Oil

  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees or the BBQ
  • In a small bowl mix all of the ingredients together into a paste, except for the chicken.
  • Cover the chicken with the paste, making sure you cover all areas of the chicken.
  • Leave the chicken to marinate in the fridge for at least 3 minutes.
  • Roast he chicken for approximately 1.5 hours until it is golden and the juices run clear.
  • serve with stir fry vegetables. .
