Ingredients

  • 140 gram Butter -softened

  • 0.5 cup Caster Sugar

  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 0.5 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1.5 cups Plain flour

  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp Bicarb soda

  • 0.25 cup Dark choc chips

  • 0.25 cup White choc chips

Directions

  • Cream the butter and sugar then add the egg and vanilla and beat well.
  • Add the flour, cocoa, bicarb soda and salt and mix until just combined then stir in the choc chips.
  • Drop teaspoon sized balls onto a lined baking tray, leaving at least 5cm between biscuits to allow for spreading.
  • Bake at 160 degrees for 15-17 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the tray or until biscuits firm up slightly, then place onto cooling rack.
