How to Make Butterscotch Sauce From Scratch

Butterscotch Sauce is delicious hot over vanilla ice cream, as an accompaniment to Sticky Date Pudding, or just on its own by the spoonful. This recipe will last for several weeks in the fridge if sealed correctly.

Butterscotch Sauce is a combination of golden syrup, cream, butter and brown sugar – super sweet. But when it is boiled and reduced, it makes for the most delicious sauce that is a great addition to make any dessert – fantastic.
