A mother has got the best birthday gift ever after her baby was born on the same date she was born — just as she was a gift to her mum who gave birth to her on her birthday.
Mum Kelly Wilson, from Wyndham Vale in Melbourne, is her parent’s first daughter, born March 31st, and who would have thought that 29 years later, she would give birth�to her first daughter also, Scarlett, last March 31st.
“It just so happened to plan that way, we were excited – but we didn’t want to get too excited,” Kelly said.
However, the celebration didn’t stop there as Kelly’s mum, Leanne, was also born on March 31st, 54 years ago.
“I went into labour just after midnight on my birthday and everyone was coming to see the new baby and I’m like, it’s my birthday too, where’s my presents,” she said.
Starting next year, March 31st will be a special day for the family, having three times the reason to celebrate.
“First birthday next year, 30th and 55th,” Kelly said.
Indeed, “History repeats itself.”
