My husband absolutely adores Homemade Granola – or ‘fancy muesli’ as he calls it. It is widely available from the supermarket in Australia but it costs a FORTUNE!!! But now I can make it for him at home and it makes for a really lovely gift – just pop it in a jar with a ribbon!

Ingredients
1 cup Self raising flour-wholemeal
0.5 cup shredded coconut
1 cup Nuts-(walnuts cashews, pecans, macadamia nuts)
2 tbsp Honey
0.5 cup Sugar
1 cup Traditional rolled oats
4 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Coconut oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Line a large shallow baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Melt the butter and the honey together and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the baking paper and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Allow to cool and store in a sealed jar.

- Homemade Granola keeps well for up to two weeks in a sealed jar.
- Feel free to reduce the amount of sugar to your taste.
