Response to “Spiced Cheesecake Slice”
There is something wrong with the ratio of butter to biscuits in the base as when I made the slice according to the recipe (using Arnott’s Shredded Wheatmeal Biscuits) the base did not bind together after cooking and reverted back to biscuit crumbs. It may be the method needs to be changed so that the base is baked blind BEFORE the cream cheese mixture is poured over the top.
