Quinoa Breakfast is something I hadn’t tried until now. It is kind of like a chewy nutty feel with the yummy sweetness of golden syrup!

Ingredients
1 cup Quinoa
1 tbsp Butter
.50 cup Milk
1 tbsp Golden Syrup
.25 tsp Cinnamon
.25 cup Water
.25 cup Brown Sugar-To serve
Directions
- Bring the water to a boil then add Quinoa.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 – 12 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and let sit for further 5 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, combine the butter, milk, golden syrup and cinnamon.
- Stir in the Quinoa.
- Divide the mixture between bowls and top with a sprinkle of brown sugar and almonds.
- Serve immediately.
