4) Replace With Something Healthy

How To Kick Your Caffeine Addiction

Your body gets accustomed to what you eat and drink every day, which means you’ll often crave something just because it’s familiar or a part of your daily routine. So when you’re trying to cut out the caffeine, you’ll often feel a need to replace it with something else. This can be done in a healthy way. Instead of coffee, energy drinks and soft drinks, which are high in caffeine, consume tea, which is low in caffeine. Black tea has the highest amount of caffeine, and white tea has the lowest. Alternatively, replace it with juice or water, both of which are good ways to hydrate as well as fill your belly.

5) Use Exercise To Ride The Lows

Taking out caffeine in your daily diet can leave you feeling low, and we mean really low. Caffeine can boost your mood, and that morning cup of coffee might seem like it carries you throughout the day. It’s that feeling you’ll miss most when you change your habits. But the good news is you don’t need to sit in a dark room and be sad about it. Exercise is a healthy, natural way to feel good about yourself and your life right now. The endorphins that are released when you exercise are more than enough to make up for coffee, so get out there!
