Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1 small red onion, finely diced

  • 1 medium tomato, finely diced

  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed

  • 1 fresh lime, juiced

  • 1 small red chilli, finely chopped (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Cut avocados in half and remove the seeds.
  • Scoop avocado flesh into a medium bowl.
  • Mash avocado with a fork until smooth but slightly chunky.
  • Add onion, tomato, garlic, lime juice, and chilli (if using).
  • Stir ingredients together until well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Fold through coriander leaves just before serving.
