A healthier way of having hot chips is to cook them on the BBQ and make an excellent side dish to your dinner.
BBQ Potato and Pumpkin Chips

Ingredients
5 large Potatoes
0.25 a pumpkin
4 tbsp Olive oil
Directions
- Wash potatoes, leaving skin on cut potatoes into thin slices approximately 1-1.5cm. Set aside in bowl.
- Remove seeds and skin from pumpkin (unless you love pumpkin skin) then slice into slabs 2cm thick.
- Place in separate bowl, then drizzle each bowl with oil enough to just coat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place on the BBQ plate and cook for 8 minutes each side.
- Recipe Hints and Tips;
- BBQ Chips are not suitable for freezing and best served immediately.
- You can top with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce or serve with your favourite steak.
