Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Margarine

  • 2 tbsp Plain flour

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • .5 tsp Salt

  • .5 tsp Pepper-or less to taste

  • 0.5 cup Vegetable stock-or meat stock/broth

  • 0.5 cup Milk

Directions

  • In a saucepan melt the margarine until it is a liquid. Using a fork or whisk, add the flour and stir until it has dissolved into the margarine.
  • Add the sugar, salt and pepper, then gradually whisk in the broth and the milk. Cook and stir until mixture is thick and bubbling.
  • Boil for a full minute, then serve when still nice and hot
