I did wonder who thought up the idea to put these ingredients together for this drink.
This cocktail is said to be named after either Queen Mary I of England (Henry the VIII’s daughter and sister to Queen Elizabeth 1st) or ghost/witch (Bloody Mary Worth).
A bartender in Paris claims to have invented it some time during the 1920.
Add Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Stir well.
Pour in Vodka and tomato juice.
Stir. MMMMM...Time to enjoy a Bloody Mary!
Garnish with celery stick
For a Virgin Bloody Mary, just leave out the vodka
