Ingredients

  • 500 gram Chicken Tenderloins

  • 3 tbsp Basil pesto

  • 600 millilitre thickened Cream

  • 3 cups cooked spiral Pasta

  • 2 tbsp lemon infused Olive oil

  • 1 number Lemon-zest

Directions

  • Heat lemon olive oil in fry-pan over high heat and add 4-5 chicken tenderloins at a time and cook for 2 minutes each side.
  • Slice chicken into chunks and place into a bowl.
  • Continue until all chicken is cooked.
  • Heat large saucepan and add cream and basil.
  • Stirring until pesto is evenly mixed through cream.
  • Add cooked pasta, chicken and lemon zest.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well coated with creamy pesto blend.
  • Reduce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Recipe Hints and Tips:
  • Basil Pesto Chicken Pasta is not suitable to freeze.
  • Serve topped with shaved Parmasen Cheese and some lemon wedges.
  • You can substitute the lemon Olive Oil for plain Olive Oil.
  • Leftovers also make a great work lunch the next day. Ensure to keep refrigerated in an airtight container.
