Responses to “No-Bake Lemon Slice”
hi we love this slice i make it once a week and im lucky if it lasts that long. highly recommand. so easy
can I ask why in the picture it looks like it has distinct layers yet in the method it’s mixed all together…
I beleive the top layer is the Lemon coconut Icing =)
The picture is 2 layers because its base and icing
This looks like pressed biscuit base, layer of coconut, layer of mixed lemon, condensed milk etc, with icing and coconut to top off. Can’t see it turning out like in the picture, otherwise.
This should be 3 layers. Biscuit base consisting coconut, butter and biscuits, filling consisting condensed milk and lemon juice then the icing on top of that. If you mix the base and filling together you will end up with one very gluggy horrible mess.
Hi. What is the last ingredient? Coconut milk? Dessicated?
Hi there, I’m not sure what you mean? The ingredients are all listed. 🙂
I meant the icing part. If using desiccated coconut, will the icing still be smooth?
It will be smooth but there will be a texture to it because of the coconut. 🙂 Hope this helps!
