As always, with most cakes in mugs, you are better off using a large mug, combining the ingredients in another bowl or jug and pouring it into the mug. I keep batches of the dry ingredients pre-mixed in sandwich bags and add the wet ingredients when its time to bake.

Ingredients
1 tbsp Butter-softened
2 tbsp Sugar
1 number Egg
2 tbsp Sour cream
0.5 tsp Vanilla essence
0.25 cup Plain flour
0.125 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Brown sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon
Directions
- Combine butter, sugar, egg, sour cream and vanilla in a bowl.
- Add flour and baking powder and mix to make a smooth batter.
- Spoon into large mug.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top of the batter
- Microwave for between 1 minute 30 seconds and 3 minutes, cooking time will depend on how cooked you like your mug cakes.
