Ingredients

  • 250 gram Crunchy peanut butter

  • 200 gram Dark chocolate bar-broken up into pieces

  • 280 gram Light brown soft sugar

  • 3 Large Eggs

  • 120 gram Self-raising flour

  • 0.75 cup Dark Chocolate buds-optional

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees (160 for fan forced) and line a 25cm square baking tin with baking paper. Also set aside 80g of the peanut butter to top the brownies.
  • In a pan melt together the remaining peanut butter, the dark chocolate bar and the sugar in a pan, stirring regularly. Continue until the the sugar has just about meted. Then turn of the heat and allow to cool.
  • Once slightly cooled, use a wooden spoon to beat the eggs in one at a time. Then stir in the flour and combine well. Pour this mixture into the prepared tin.
  • Melt the rest of the peanut butter in the microwave on high for about 45 seconds, or in a pan, until it is nice and runny. Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the brownie.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until a crust has formed on the outsides of the brownie but the middle still seems a little undercooked. Sprinkle chocolate buds over the top if you want.
