Ingredients
3/4 cups Self raising flour
3/4 cups Wholemeal plain flour-(self raising)
1/2 tsp Salt
150 gram Butter
2/3 cups Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 Lemons
2 tbsp Sesame seeds
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. With butter, grease a regular sized loaf tin.
- In a large bowl sieve the flours together and mix in the salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and the sugar. Beat in the eggs, vanilla, and juice and zest of the two lemons
- Fold the flour into the wet mix until just combined.
- Pour into prepared loaf tin. If desired, top with lemon slices and sesame seeds. Bake for 30-minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Serve warm or cold and enjoy!
