Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup Butter

  • 2 cups Marshmallow-white

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 2.5 cups Puffed rice cereal -(most other cereals also work well)

  • 1 cup Chocolate melts

  • 0.5 cup Sprinkles

Directions

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and vanilla and stir constantly over a low heat until well combined and melted.
  • Remove from heat and add cereal. Stir until well coated.
  • Press mixture very firmly into a lined square pan.
  • Refrigerate until set.
  • Cut into 12 bars.
  • Melt chocolate in a glass bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
  • Pour sprinkles onto a plate. Dip half of each bar into chocolate, turn to coat well, briefly drain off excess chocolate then immediately place onto plate of sprinkles.
  • Turn to coat with sprinkles, working quickly so the chocolate doesn’t set.
  • Place onto a lined baking tray and refrigerate until set.

How much vanilla does this recipe need? I can see vanilla mentioned in the method, but not in the ingredients list, Thanks 🙂
