Bondi Man Blinds Neighbour With Chlorine Over Noise Dispute

A 45-year-old father�was playing with his daughter on a trampoline in their backyard in Bondi�on Sunday before sending her inside�at about 2.45pm.

Police allege�the 31-year-old neighbour threw�liquid chlorine over the fence. It hit the man,�who was still on the trampoline, in the face. The incident rendered�permanent damage to his eyesight and he�is being treated at the Sydney Eye Hospital.

It is believed the two men had been in an ongoing argument over frequent excessive noise in the younger man’s rented home.

While police�believe the act was deliberate, the 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

Granted bail, the man is to appear in Waverley Local Court on March 30.
