Police Hunt Woman Who Ran Over Young Boy Outside Sydney School

A seven-year-old boy was hit by a car outside a Sydney school yesterday.

Police are now on the hunt for a woman driver who struck a young boy�in front of Campbelltown East Public School, in Sydney’s south-west, at 3pm yesterday.

Witnesses told police�that the woman, who�was driving a�red Mitsubishi Mirage,�stopped briefly on Valley Rd after hitting the boy before fleeing the scene.

The boy�was treated at the scene before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital with�non-life threatening injuries.

The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion and long brown hair.

Police have urged anyone with information or those who have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact Campbelltown Police Station on 4620 1199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
