10 Things To Do To Make It Look Like You’ve Done A Day’s Work

2. Play tetris with the dishes.

Don’t wash them there’s no time for that! But, stack them as efficiently as possible, so they aren’t in the same place they’ve been in since last night, and so that the surface area is minimised.

3. Get out of your PJ’s, dispose of the chocolate wrappers and brush your hair.

A sure-fire giveaway that you’ve been a bit slack is being busted in your shagbusters (you know, the ‘at home’ clothes that would kill the moment with anyone, including your partner of many years!). The empty foil wrappers that outline the shape of your seated backside are pretty damning evidence, too ditch those. If you have time, the hair brushing is for bonus points.

pull the dona/quilt over all the beds, makes them look properly made and makes the whole bedroom look much tidier,

For those who use a dish rack, take some clean dishes out of the cupboard and put them out (with a splash of water on them) pretending that you washed them today. Can do the same with clothes. Put some previously clean clothes folded into piles on the couch- ready to be put away (again!). And for bonus points, leave the vacuum cleaner in the hall wall/lounge, somewhere obvious, so it looks like it ‘actually’ got used. “Honey, What have I done today?? I’ve washed and folded 3 loads of washing today, done the dishes, cleaned the toilet AND the bathroom (I like the bleach smell idea hehe), and vacuumed the WHOLE house!! What haven’t I done today?!” I like it 😉

Another good one is to spray Mr Sheen or another similar cleaning product near the front door so as soon as your OH walks in the smells hits them and they assume you’ve been cleaning around there 😀

You can use it on everything makes dirty clothes towels carpets curtains smell clean and if uve left you washing in the washing machine for a bit longer and it’s starting to smell hang them out then spray that into it it’s like freshly washed
