9. You’re Taking A Certain Kind Of Medication

It turns out the contraception isn’t the only medicine that can bring down your libido. Medications that are used to treat depression, in particular serotonin receptor intake inhibitors (SSRIs) can really put a damper on your sex drive. The SSRIs raise the level or serotonin in the body, which inhibits sexual reflex. Painkillers and narcotics can also have a negative impact.
