Everybody knows and loves the Simpsons!

Every character and every episode, they are famous across the world. So, here are some facts about the much loved series I bet you didn’t know until now!

1. Krusty the Clown’s real name is: Herschel Shmoikel Pinchas Yerucham Krustofsky

2. Sideshow Bob’s real name is ‘Robert Underdunk Terwilliger, Jr, Ph.D.’

If Sideshow Bob’s dulcet tones sound somewhat familiar, it is because he is voiced by Kelsey Grammar. Bob is a self-proclaimed genius and graduate of Yale University.

3. Michael Jackson co-wrote ‘Do the Bartman’.

Nancy Cartwright (who voices Bart) was the singer, with Michael Jackson singing backup vocals.  ‘Do the Bartman’ was released as a single on the 20th November 1990 and it topped the charts in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway and the United Kingdom.  It was Brittain’s seventh best selling song of 1991.

4. Cletus and Brandeline Del Roy Spuckler (The Redneck Couple who are reported brother and sister) have 44 children.

Their names are:  Tiffany, Heather, Cody, Dylan, Dermot, Jordan, Taylor, Brittany, Wesley, Rumer, Scout, Cassidy, Zoe, Chloe, Max, Hunter, Kendall, Kaitlin, Noah, Sasha, Morgan, Kyra, Ian, Lauren, Qbert, Phil, Gummy Sue, Normal Head Joe, Designated Dorothy, Rubella Scabies, Birthday, Crystal Meth, Dubya, International Harvester, Jitney, Mary, Stabbed in Jail, Wheel and Barrel, Tripod, Navel String, Melvis, Mary-Not-Quite-Right, Mary Zeke, Embry Joe, Gitmo, ‘Something New’. The remaining children haven’t got names.

5. Millhouse Van Houten’s middle name is Mussolini.
