Sia
Sia is an Australian pop singer behind such smash hits as “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart.”�But Sia fell victim to drug and alcohol abuse and was diagnosed with Graves disease. She dropped out of the spotlight and wrote for Madonna, Beyonce and Rihanna who sung diamonds, written by Sia that landed number 1.
Why she’s a Diva:�Sia has not been shy about her past of drugs, alcohol, and depression. She had�a boyfriend who died in a car crash in London. Out of devastation, she turned to drugs. The New York Times wrote that Sia “contacted a drug dealer in�May 2010 and ordered ‘two of everything,’ she says, except meth and heroin. She held on to her stash and contemplated taking everything at once. Months later, she was writing a suicide note.”
Sia’s a survivor for owning up to her mistakes and getting back up on her feet, an inspiration to women. Her song, Chandelier, sings about her struggle with alcohol and the Diva challenged�mainstream pop with her hit single.

British Pop Superstar Jessie J has got a lot of determination and power in her voice that she has soared up to be a Diva in her own right. Her debut single, the anti-materialistic “Price Tag” sold over 11 million singles and 2.5 million albums, charting all over the world.
Why she’s a Diva:�Rocking hairstyles, neon wigs, hair tights and statement�earrings and boots, Jessie J always comes out confident in her colour splashed outfits. She was diagnosed with a heart condition and had a stroke at 18, but she still went on to recover and reach for her dreams. “Tears don’t mean you’re losing, everybody’s bruising”� There’s nothing wrong with who you are.” Now that is so..deep.

In 1981, Madonna decided to invade the male dominated world of music business. 4 years later,�Like A Virgin�hit no. 1 on the Billboard charts and went platinum in just a month.
Why she’s a Diva:�The moment she rocked the music industry, Madonna has always become a trendsetter. She started the fishnet stockings, lace lingerie, fingerless gloves, and large crucifix outfit trend. Wardrobe malfunctions don’t worry her, and she’s proud of who she is, keepin’ it real on social media.
Nicki�Minaj
Hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj was featured in seven songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 at the same time, even before the release of her debut album in 2010.
Why she’s a Diva:�Try defining Nicki Minaj and you’ll fail at it. Her uniqueness has earned her millions of fans, from�fashion sense to her wicked rap skills, Minaj is a crowd pleaser and she’s got that huge wow factor. Not to mention her alter egos:�Harajuku�Barbie, Nicki Teresa, Rosa, Roman Zolanski and Martha Zolanski�which you’ll hear in her songs.. and that ass!
