After the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) decided to conduct an online poll to name their new research ship, people have flocked their website to give names from scientifically-based terms�to funny suggestions. Among the famous pacesetter�was�Boaty McBoatface (which actually won!) And the amusement in naming animals is making waves�in Twitter newsfeeds.
