Being a new mum is hard enough, and it just keeps getting tougher as bub grows, so how can it get easier?
We at SAHM know the challenges that motherhood brings. We’ve been there and it’s not easy peasy — a wailing bub that you just can’t soothe enough, a little monster that throws everything you put in his/her mouth, a cheeky tyke you just don’t know what he/she is up to — name it, we’ve been through that.
So, for all of you new mums who are still in seventh heaven, we wouldn’t want you to drop down from there just yet.
There are products for you and bub that you can take advantage of so you can enjoy motherhood as much as you want. You can either buy it or, if you want to be practical, you can rent.
Some baby essentials are only useful up to a few months, and so unless you’re planning of having another baby in the next year, those won’t be of use.
Some products can be kept and still be in a good condition when used after a few months, but not all. So, have a search at what you need and see if you should buy it or rent it.
Below are some newborn essentials that we think you should just rent instead of buy.. and these products will make a new mum’s life easier.. totally!
Perfect for newborn babies up to 6 months old. This bassinet features a large protective sun canopy, sun protecting foot apron and a machine washable mattress cover create an environment that is clean, safe and easy to maintain.
The swing has 5 soothing speeds, 10 musical melodies and a toy bar with 2 playful characters that rotates 360 degrees. It swings, soothes and entertains them while your arms rest for a bit!
Perfect if you want to keep an eye on bub while you’re away. Motorola’s MBP421, 2-inch diagonal colour screen and high sensitivity microphone will allow you to see and hear every little sound coming from your baby’s room
This is perfect when you want bub to sleep next to you in a different bed. The crib attaches and detaches to the bed and you can adjust the height to level with your bed. You can also move it around the house wherever you are. It just makes your life easier.
