A furious mum has fired her babysitter after discoveringthat the babysitter allowed a bucket of water to pour down over her baby’s head at a water park in the US.

Mum Brittany Dixson from Greenwood, Indiana in the US was outraged after she was sent a cruelvideo which was shared on Facebook and found out that her seven-month-old daughter, Annora, was the focus. The video has now gone viral.

Ms Dixon could only watch in horror as her babysitter set Annora down at a water park and allowed a massive bucket of water to pour down over her head. She toldFox59that at first, she didn’t realise that the baby was her daughter, then later discovered it was Annora and her babysitter.

“It freaked me out. All I did was want to get to her. Hold her tight and just be with her. I could not stop crying. I cried even when I had her in my arms because I just didn’t know what to do or how to react to the situation,” shesaid.

In the video, posted on Facebook by Desiree Howell, the baby can be seen being sat down by her babysitter at a water park underneath a bucket of water. A few seconds later, a massive amount of water poured down on the child’s head before she was scooped up by the babysitter.

The uploader captioned the video:

“You have got to be kidding me!!!!! She is abusing this child. Baby is crying. And swallowing this water. Pray this baby won’t drown in her sleep!!! She has been yelling at her telling her to get over it. Its part of being a kid. Heard this baby is only 7 months old….AND NOT HERS!!!!! SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!!!”

MsDixson said that the babysitter didn’tapologise for her actions, but instead criticised the mother when confronted with the footage.”She just told me that people need to mind their own business and that Nora’s perfectly fine. She’s eating and she was just having fun with her,” she said.

She immediately fired her babysitter but no charges have been filed.

The video has been viewed more than 738,000times.
