Easter Egg Drop Turns Chaotic As Children Were Knocked To The Ground

Children and adults reacting as helicopter drops Easter eggs during event.

Chaos erupted as children have beentrampled after a helicopter made an Easter egg droponto a school oval on the Gold Coast on Good Friday.

Over 30,000 Easter eggs were released over Upper Coomera Primary last Friday as part of a Good Friday event, hosted by Forward Church.

In thisFacebook post, thousands of children can be seen screaming as theyscrambled onto the grass to grab the eggs.

One child screamed, “I can’t get up!” as another one yelled,”Stop pushing,” while the others can be heard crying.

An older woman, wearing a black cap, can then be seen helping the children up, and exclaims “It’s too hot in here.”

In a video filmed by 9NEWS, a lot of children can be seen being held back as thehelicopter hovered over the drop spot.
