Firstly,  I’m not a doctor so there’s no possible insight I can give you into this situation. Secondly, when did it become normal to ask me to smell your child? That aside this situation is just what I needed after watching your baby laugh. That nearly tipped the scales. But the idea of descending into that smell-obsessed world in which parents live is enough to put a stop to that all together. Instead, I’m going to watch you do a not-so-subtle nappy and neck roll smell test, while I inhale on a morning cuppa.
