That Moment When You Invite Melisandre to a Baby Shower…

Melisandre at a humorous baby shower with friends and family.

This is the reason why The Red Woman doesn’t have female friends. And she’s not great with kids either! If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you’ll love this!

In this very funny skit recently shown onLate Night with Seth Meyers, Seth and his wife Alex throw a baby shower together with some of their friends. While it’s usuallyexpected that baby showers are supposed to be fun, positive and upbeat, Melisandre (played byCarice van Houten), from hit TV series Game of Thrones, didn’t quite get the memo on that one!

When each guestoffers inspiring quotes about motherhood, Melisandre turns grim and advises Alex to “Clutch your child close to your breast, woman, for the night is dark and full of terrors.” Oh, how doting.

After getting few pep talks with Seth, Melisandretries to be natural and conversationalby sharing her birth experience to a shadow demon…..

Then just wait and see what she gives to Seth and Alex as a baby shower gift! Priceless!!

Try not to argue withher or she’ll set you on fire!

Melisandre could be telling the truth after all. The night is dark and full of terror… especially with toddlers!
