8. Abigail Breslin, 19 ($12 million)
Abigail Kathleen Breslin is best remembered for her lead role in Little Miss Sunshine in 2006. She was just 10 years old. Since then, she has been fighting aliens and zombies and has starred in films such as Nim’s Island (2008), Definitely, Maybe (2008), My Sister’s Keeper (2009), Zombieland (2009), Rango (2011) and Ender’s Game (2013), among many others.
7. Valentina Paloma Pinault, 7 ($12 million)
Valentina is the daughter of the famous actress, Salma Hayek, and corporate executive, Francois Henri Pinault. Her parents may have not set up a trust fund for Valentina as her only asset is a $12 million home placed under her name but she is sure to get more from her wealthy parents. How rich are her parents? Hayek’s net worth is estimated to be at $85 million which she got from her long, successful career in acting. But, Hayek’s money is just nothing compared to Pinault’s net worth. As the current Chairman of Kering in France and as board member for two other companies, he is estimated to be worth around $15 billion.
6. Chloe Grace Moretz, 18 ($12 million)
Chloe Grace Moretz started her acting career in 2004 and was then nominated for an award the next year for her performance in The Amityville Horror. She has since become very popular after she kicked some ass as Hit Girl in the film Kick Ass, scared the wits out of us in the supernatural horror film Carrie and broke our hearts in If I Stay.
5. Nick D’Aloisio, 19 ($30 million)
Not a lot of self-made kid millionaires have made it to our list and Nick is only second here. But what made him extremely wealthy? In 2012, D’Aloisio created an app called Summly which summarises news articles and shortens them into smaller chunks so they become an easier read. Apple named his app as the best in 2012 but D’Aloisio later sold Summly to Yahoo! for $30 million so he could focus on his schooling.
