“She started coming out with all these things like, ‘I want to put my penis in your vagina. I want to lick your p***y. I want to sleep with you’,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

“It was things you don’t expect your 10-year-old child to come and say to you.I was quite shocked to begin with and then it turned to anger and then it turned to tears because her innocence was shattered.”

Mrs Mitchell asked her daughter where she got those words and the girl admitted she’d seen them on Roblox.

The extremely worried mother hurriedly checked her daughter’s iPad and was shocked after discovering the explicit messages. She said that her daughter knows about the “birds and the bees” but not to the extent of being vulgar.

She said she deleted the Roblox app and discussed internet safety with her daughter.

Another mother,Kayla Bailey, a mother-of-two from Perth, also told9Newshow her nine-year-old daughter had been targeted on Roblox, which she dubbed a ‘paedophile’s gateway.’

Ms Bailey said she was with her daughter who was playing the game when she noticed an inappropriate message from an older male asking where her daughter had been all weekend.

Six months ago, a British father first raised the alarm about the game after he claimed that his eight-year-old son waspropositioned by paedophiles within 15 minutes of playing the game.

Young children playing Roblox with online safety risks highlighted.

Roblox is an online game aimed at children starting from the age of eight and has 30 million active users.

The eSafety Commissionerstated thatRoblox has two chat modes for children under the age of 13 and for teens above. “When a user under the age of 13 signs up with their correct birth date, they are automatically put in this mode. Parents may transition their child to the next mode via the account settings.”

Abuse can also be reported on the game’s app in the ‘report’ tab under account settings.
