Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Dried apricots-finely diced

  • 1/2 cups Dates-pitted and finely diced

  • 1/2 cups Sultanas

  • 1/2 cups Prunes-pitted and finely diced

  • 1/3 cups Glace cherries-chopped

  • 1/3 cups Mixed peel

  • 1 Apple-peeled and finely diced

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Orange juice

  • 1/2 cups Apple juice

  • 1 tbsp Brandy -(optional)

  • 1 tsp Mixed spice

  • 0.25 tsp Ground ginger

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan over a medium heat for about 8-10 minutes or until sauce is thick and fruit is plump.
  • Allow to cool before using in any recipes.

Notes

  • Diabetic Friendly Fruit Mince is not suitable for freezing
