Ingredients
1/2 cups Dried apricots-finely diced
1/2 cups Dates-pitted and finely diced
1/2 cups Sultanas
1/2 cups Prunes-pitted and finely diced
1/3 cups Glace cherries-chopped
1/3 cups Mixed peel
1 Apple-peeled and finely diced
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Orange juice
1/2 cups Apple juice
1 tbsp Brandy -(optional)
1 tsp Mixed spice
0.25 tsp Ground ginger
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan over a medium heat for about 8-10 minutes or until sauce is thick and fruit is plump.
- Allow to cool before using in any recipes.
Notes
- Diabetic Friendly Fruit Mince is not suitable for freezing
