This delicious red wine sangria is perfect for parties, and it’s sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

To make this Christmas sangria, simply combine your favourite red wine with some brandy, orange juice, and cinnamon sticks. Then, add some fresh fruit, such as apples and oranges.

Let the sangria sit for a few hours (or even overnight) so that the flavours can meld together. When you’re ready to serve, just ladle the sangria into glasses and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Red wine

  • .5 cup Ice cubes

  • 5 cups Rosè Sparkling Wine

  • 1 cup Frozen Cranberries

  • 2 Limes, sliced or quartered

  • 2 cups Sparkling Mineral Water, we’ve used lime flavoured

  • 1 cup Mint or Rosemary, to garnish

Directions

  • Place all liquid ingredients in a punch bowl and mix well
  • Throw in lime slices and a handful of cranberries
  • If you’re feeling creative thread 4 or 5 cranberries on thin skewers to garnish

Notes

  • Red Wine Sangria is not suitable to freeze.
  • You can use and frozen fruit you want in this sangria
