Ingredients

  • 1 Milk Arrowroot Biscuits (250 grams)-crushed

  • 1 Condensed milk (395 grams)

  • 1/4 cup Desiccated Coconut for rolling

  • 4 tbsps Milo

Directions

  • Crush the biscuits until small or fine (this works well in a food processor if you have one!).
  • Add the Milo and condensed milk and mix until well combined.
  • Roll into teaspoon sized balls with your hands (damp hands make the balls easier to handle) and then roll in the shredded coconut to coat.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.

Notes

  • Milo Balls are suitable to freeze for up to four weeks.  Layer with baking paper and seal in an airtight container..
  • Store in the fridge.
  • Wash your hands every 2-3 balls as the mixture is VERY sticky.
  • If you are not a fan of coconut, Milo Balls can be rolled in sifted cocoa or chocolate sprinkles.

They are really easy to make and can be frozen, so you can make them in advance! This is why I love balls – yummmm. Give these Milo Balls a try, and you won’t regret it!

After crushing the biscuits and pinching some Milo powder, roll them in crushed almonds or another type of nut. You can top them off with shredded coconut for an added yummy texture.

do you think there is any thing to substitute the sweetened condensed milk to make these a touch healthier?

Hi Steph – Perhaps you could substitute the condensed milk with your own home made variety? https://stayathomemum.com.au/recipes/condensed-milk-alternatives/
