Homemade condensed milk ice cream | stay at home mum

Need a fast, no-fuss dessert that doesn’t require an ice cream maker or a culinary degree? This three-ingredient ice cream is your go-to. Just whip cream, fold in condensed milk and vanilla, and freeze. That’s it. The result? Creamy, scoopable ice cream that’s ready in hours—and endlessly customisable. Add crushed strawberries, chopped choc bars, or whatever’s in the pantry. It’s perfect for school holidays, last-minute dinner guests, or when the kids are “bored” and need a treat now. One bowl, no cooking, total win.

The only problem with making your own ice cream at home is that it tends to go very hard when you freeze it.  But to stop that happening, once the ice cream has been frozen, pop it into a large zip lock bag – and it will be totally scoopable right away!  Dunno how it works – but it does!
