We’ve used rose essence in this recipe, which is cheaper and more readily available than rose water.
If you have rose water, around 1 tbs should be used. Feel free to add more rose essence or rose water, if you prefer a strong rose flavour.
You will need a sugar thermometer (a.k.a. candy thermometer) for this recipe.
