Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled Oats

  • 1.5 cups Wholemeal flour

  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar

  • 1 cup Mixed Dried Fruit

  • 0.66 cup Maple Syrup

  • 1 tbsp Water-boiling

  • 1 tsp Bicarb Soda

  • 60 gram Margarine

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Grease a lamington tin.
  • Mix oats, flour, fruit and sugar into a bowl.
  • Place maple syrup and margarine in microwave proof jug and cook on high for 2 minutes stirring once.
  • Carefully mix in water and bicarbonate soda and pour into the dry ingredients, mixing well.
  • Press into tin and bake for 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Let it cool and cut into rectangles

Notes

  •  Fruit Slice is suitable to freeze for up to three months.
