Easy Corn Quiche

This Easy Corn Quiche is a fast and frugal dish perfect for week nights when time is limited.

It’s super easy to make and delicious.  Best of all – it will feed a family of four for under $10! You can add in some extra veggies too!

Ingredients

  • 125 gram tin Creamed corn

  • 1 cup Tasty cheddar cheese

  • 5 Eggs

  • 1/4 cups Cream

  • 1 Shortcrust Pastry Shell

  • 200 gram tin Corn kernels

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Line a deep quiche dish with pastry and pour in the ingredients.
  • Cook in the oven for about one hour or until it’s lightly browned and set.
  • Serve with a fresh salad and crusty bread.

Notes

  • Corn Quiche is not suitable for freezing.
  • Add in some extra veggies like capsicum or broccoli if you wish.
  • Best served hot on the day it is made.
