I use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment to create this frosting because the more you beat it the better it becomes but you can use a hand mixer if you have one.
This is the only butter frosting you will ever need!
It’s total perfection and easily be swapped between vanilla and chocolate!!!

Ingredients
1 tbsp Vanilla extract, a dash
80 gram Butter
250 gram pure icing sugar, sifted
20 number ml milk
Chocolate Variation
30 gram cocoa, sifted
30 millilitre Milk
Directions
- Place butter and icing sugar in a bowl and beat on low speed until combined.
- Combine vanilla and milk in a small bowl and slowly add to the frosting mixture.
- Once combined turn the speed high and beat the frosting for about 6 minutes.
- Chocolate Variation Follow the recipe above and add the cocoa in with the icing sugar in the first step.
