Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Plain flour

  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp Water

Directions

  • Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the wet.
  • Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.
  • This brownie WILL NOT RISE so don’t be alarmed if you end up with a flat cake – it’s still amazingly YUM!
  • Top with fresh cream or ice cream.

Notes

  • Brownie In a Mug is best made fresh just before eaten or it will harden.

This decadent Brownie-In-A-Mug is the perfect after dinner treat.

Great with fresh cream or ice cream, this simple recipe only takes a matter of minutes but has a definite WOW factor!

As always, with most cakes in mugs, you are better off using a large mug, combining the ingredients in another bowl or jug and pouring it into the mug.

I keep batches of the dry ingredients pre-mixed in sandwich bags and add the wet ingredients when its time to bake.
